Mutua Patrick Nzoka, OGW is a graduate of the University of Nairobi with local postgraduate training in environment at Africa Nazarene University and global training in Germany, UK, Spain, South Korea, China and Philippines. Professionally, he is a Chartered financial analyst and an environmental Lead Expert. He is an Associate member of the Kenya Institute of Management.
Mr Nzoka served in various public and private capacities over the last 40years as Managing Director, Kenya Tourist Development Corporation,Director in the Ministry of Local Government and the Ministry of Land, Housing and Urban Development. He served as a member of the Boards of: Kenya Investment Authority, Kenya Wildlife Service, Kenya Rural Roads Authority, Bomas of Kenya, Kenya Safari Lodges & Hotels, Kenya Hotel Properties, World Tourism Organization, among many other Boards. He is the Director General of Green Kenya Investment Corporation and ViceChairman of Environmental Institute of Kenya and a member of the KenyaPrivate Sector Alliance sector board.
He distinguished himself in public service and earned a Head of State commendation for exemplary service and was decorated with Order of theGrand Warrior (OGW).“The Director” is associated with global effort marketing Kenya, diverse re-afforestation, and land reclamation efforts, many hotel developments and with market developments across all Counties in Kenya.
