Linda currently serves as a Member of the Environmental Institute of Kenya (EIK) Interim Council. She holds an MSc in Biodiversity & Conservation (University of Leeds), a Bsc in Environmental Studies (Maseno University )

and a diploma in International Environmental Law (United Nations Institute of Training and Research – UNITAR). She is registered with NEMA as a Lead Expert.

She is a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 14000:2004 (Environment Management Systems) and ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems). She is the proprietor of Redfern Certification Consultants, a firm engaged in auditing, training and consultation on Environment and Quality Management Systems. Linda has attended and presented in various local and international conferences on environmental management matters over the years.

Linda has worked in the Agriculture sector for over 10 years in various capacities including the position of Environment Manager where her role involved running Environment Management Systems in the Floriculture sector in today’s challenging atmosphere, as well as aiding in planning and implementing environmental strategy for floricultural business.
